Educational choices and opportunities took him away from farming and into the field of Civil Engineering but his love for the land is still strong.

Qualifying as an Effluent Assessor in 2017, affords him an opportunity to finally work in the Agricultural sector. This coupled with his engineering skills of pumps, pipes, and earthworks gives him the ability to look at many situations and draw some good information and solutions for possible problems.

Greig, in partnership, has recently started a Health and safety company (First Base Ltd) that provides small to medium business with Health and safety systems and advice. Many of his current customers come from the farming sector.

Greig see significant strength in being able to offer farmers Dairy effluent system assessment, H&S systems and advice, and Engineering ideas that are common on typical farms.
